MİRASIMIZ QUDS ASSOCIATION RELEASED THE 2025 AL QUDS REPORT TO THE PUBLIC
Mirasımız Quds Association announced its 2025 Al-Quds Report—which addresses human rights violations throughout 2025 in Al Quds, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the West Bank, and Gaza—to the public during a press conference held at a hotel in Fatih, Istanbul.
The press conference featured speeches by Mirasımız Quds Association Chairman Muhammet Demirci, Al-Aqsa Mosque Board of Trustees Member and Al Quds Researcher Dr. Fahri Abu Diyab, Director of the Al Quds Studies Application and Research Center (KUDAM) and 29 Mayıs University Faculty Member Dr. Abdullah Ömer, Al Quds Studies Specialist Dr. Ali Ibrahim, and Journalist-Writer Mustafa Uzun.
Sharing the report’s statistical data at the meeting, Nihat Topcu, Media Director of Mirasımız Quds Association, stated that rights violations in Al-Quds reached alarming levels in 2025. Topcu revealed that in attacks by the occupation regime and fanatic groups, 17 Palestinians were martyred, the bodies of 51 martyrs were withheld, 705 people were arrested, 23 children were sentenced to house arrest, and 51 people were exiled from Al-Quds.
Stating that 897 new checkpoints were established in Al-Quds, 651 people were injured, and over 20 million dollars in fines were imposed under the pretext of zoning violations, Topcu noted that 302 shops and workshops were closed due to economic pressures, 221 homes and workplaces were demolished, and hundreds of families were left homeless. He also emphasized that over 70,000 fanatic Jews raided Al-Aqsa Mosque, Muslim schools were shut down, and teachers were barred from practicing their profession.
"The identity of Al-Quds is being systematically targeted."
Speaking at the press conference, Muhammet Demirci, Chairman of the Mirasımız Quds Association, stated that this year's report reveals a much grimmer picture compared to previous years, noting that while the global public focus remains on Gaza, Israel has implemented unprecedented practices in Al-Quds. Demirci expressed that efforts are underway to erase the historical and identity-based existence of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Demirci also noted that as an association, they organized nearly 2,000 events across Türkiye throughout 2025 to keep the identity of Al-Quds alive, raising awareness about Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque for approximately 120,000 people.

Dr. Fahri Abu Diyab, Member of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Board of Trustees, emphasized that Al-Quds cannot be explained through statistics alone, stating that the occupation regime targets the historical, cultural, and religious identity of the city. He expressed that the excavation activities carried out around Al-Aqsa Mosque and the pressures on properties have reached an extremely dangerous dimension.
The West Bank is at the center of occupation policies
Dr. Abdullah Ömer, Director of KUDAM, stated that the West Bank has become the central target of the occupation regime, noting that 2025 was an unprecedented year of violence for the region. He pointed out that settlements have been expanded, refugee camps evacuated, and thousands held in administrative detention without trial.
Dr. Ali Ibrahim, a Jerusalem Studies Specialist, emphasized that Palestinians in the West Bank are being systematically displaced, with economic and social pressures intensifying.
A severe humanitarian picture in Gaza
Sharing data regarding Gaza at the meeting, Nihat Topcu stated that more than 70,000 people have been martyred, tens of thousands are injured or missing, and hundreds of thousands are facing shelter, health, and food crises. It was noted that the health system in Gaza has reached the point of collapse, and due to malnutrition, particularly children and women face life-threatening risks.
Journalist and Writer Mustafa Uzun emphasized that what is happening in Gaza is a tragedy concerning the responsibility of all humanity, stating that the data in the report serves as a document of shame for the global conscience.
Activities of the Mirasımız Quds Association in 2025
Despite increasing pressures in Al-Quds throughout 2025, the Mirasımız Quds Association continued its humanitarian aid and social support efforts. Within this scope, food, fitra, and zakat support was provided to thousands of families, while tens of thousands of people were reached during the Ramadan and Qurban periods.
The association provided cash support and educational assistance to orphaned children, as well as medicine and medical supplies to the Makased Islamic Charitable Hospital—the only fully equipped healthcare institution in Al-Quds providing free treatment to those in need. Additionally, permanent projects such as olive tree planting and the restoration of an orphanage school were implemented.
Through its operations in Al-Quds throughout 2025, the Mirasımız Quds Association provided a total of over 72 million TL in humanitarian aid and support.
