Makassed Hospital, the largest Muslim endowment (Waqf) hospital in Al Quds where 80% of Al Quds Muslims receive healthcare, is facing a severe financial crisis.
Makassed Hospital, facing limited revenue streams, continually falls into debt while striving to provide medical care not only Al-Quds residents, but also to economically vulnerable patients from the West Bank and Gaza.

During recent events, those injured at Al-Aqsa Mosque and various areas of Al-Quds have been treated at Makassed Hospital, and they continue to receive care there.

The hospital continues striving to provide healthcare to Al Quds residents—85% of whom live below the poverty line—by taking on debt to cover medicine supplies, medical equipment purchases, and the salaries of its roughly 1,000 staff members.
As Mirasımız Association, we are carrying on the campaign we started in December 2020 to continuously support Al-Makassed Waqf Hospital..
