The occupying Israeli regime relentlessly pressures Muslim families in Al Quds, employing every means to drive Muslims from the city of our first Qibla and completely Judaize it. Roughly 400,000 Muslims reside in Al Quds under the constant threat of statelessness and legal limbo. Through systematic policies, the occupying state deliberately impoverishes the Muslim population of Al Quds.

Through exorbitant taxes, arbitrary court fines, arbitrary arrests, crippling legal fees, and severe prison sentences ranging from 1 to 30 years imposed upon Muslim men—compounded by multifaceted embargoes—they seek to force Muslims to abandon Al Quds.

We consider it our bounden duty to stand by and support the families who endure these relentless hardships, fiercely guarding Masjid al-Aqsa in our stead, and refusing multi-million dollar offers to abandon Al Quds.
 

Eighty percent of the Muslims residing in Al Quds live below the poverty line, and the income earned by each family falls far short of covering their basic necessities.
